Scrap Transformers protecting human environment and guarding one city at a time

Danilo Baletińá, artist from Montenegro, builds huge Transformers from scrap car parts. He calls them guardians of environment. Eight of these giants are currently exhibited on one of central squares in Zagreb, Croatia under the name of “Transformers guarding Zagreb” and we were lucky to be there at spring break and have a chance to see them too.

They are really huge (about 8 m high) and impressive. Even though they are inspired by the Transformers TV Series from the 80s each of the sculptures is original made of junk to look insanely cool. So much detail.

The exhibition opened on March 23, 2016 and will stay there for about a month, don’t miss it.
