Playgrounds of the World: junction of Baja rivers

Baja is city in southern Hungary. Being close to the Danube and the forest of Gemenc makes it a perfect photo site. This time we played at the meeting point of the Danube and Baja’s main river Sugovica.

In the background there is the Danube and forest of Gemenc behind it.

Since 2011 you can find a mini skanzen here, with its fisherman huts and the furnace (if you are lucky there will be fresh kenyérlángos or sour-cherry pie for you in there).

But the best playground of all is, of course, the river bank! 🙂
