Design as child’s play – Aware Kids SS17
My kids are in the look book. All three of them.
Aware Kids by Printa just launched their new collection, which is an updated collection from last year with some repeated patterns, some already evergreens and some new mix and matches. This, in my opinion, is the bestest look-book I ever did see, I don’t know if you agree? Not only all my boys are in the, but part of the collection is designed by their friends Aron and Blanka. My heart goes boom, boom….
Cool, comfy, sustainable, what more can you ask for in kids clothes?
We cannot start early enough. So is the case with design. The two young designers of our freshest sustainable collection have some surprise in store for their age-mates. Blanka (10 ) drew a lucky black cat series that were printed on scarf, hat, dress and leggings as well. While Áron (8 ) designed a number of crazy goofy faces to some simple T-shirts that blow our minds too. Next to the all-time-favourite fox print now non-figurative silkscreen patterns join in on tops and sweatshirts. Each piece is made of non-dyed pre-consumer cotton waste or used men’s shirts, the patterns were created by hand using only environment-friendly and water-based ink.
